Marie Hewitt

Marie M. Hewitt, age 85, of Ridge died Friday, December 5, 2014. Mrs. Hewitt was born October 3, 1929 in Astoria, NY. She is the daughter of the late Nicholas and the late Mary Jane (Loeffler) Martin. She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Hewitt. She had been employed by UFSD #4 in Northport as a secretary. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 9:30 am on Tuesday, December 9 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Monsignor William G. Breslawski Pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram. Visiting hours will be Monday, December 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. .
