I remember our days together as classmates and I was thrilled that our paths crossed again as educators committed to the lives of children. He often talked about his family and his face would just light up with joy and excitement. Mark was simply my best math and science teacher. I often recall the selfless way in which he gave of his time, talent and considerable expertise to all who touched him, as well as to the many he touched. He will be deeply missed and we will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. On behalf of all of us at Great Neck Public Schools, we offer our very deepest sympathies.Dr. Errin Hatwood
