It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of MaryLou Schepis on October 11, 2026.

Born and raised in the Bronx, MaryLou was the beloved wife of Tony Schepis. She was the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Jean Miele, the loving sister of Angela, and the late Nicholas, her brother.

MaryLou was a devoted mother to Joseph, Christopher, and Alyson. She was also a loving mother-in-law to Marisa, Diane and Kevin. Above all, MaryLou was a proud and devoted grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Joseph, Robert, Matthew, Christopher, Samantha, Jessica and Emma.

Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart and they brought her immeasurable joy. MaryLou cherished every moment with them and took great pride in watching them grow. She showered them with unconditional love, affection, guidance, and encouragement, creating countless treasured memories that they will carry with them always. Her bond with each of them was unique and deeply special, and the love she had for them was one of the greatest joys of her life.

MaryLou was one of the most loving, caring, and generous people in the world. She had a rare gift for making everyone around her feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved. She always saw the good in others, and her kindness, selflessness, and willingness to put others first touched countless lives. Her warmth, compassion, and generous spirit made her truly extraordinary, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

MaryLou will be remembered with profound love and gratitude by her family and friends. Though she is deeply missed, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone whose life she touched.

May she rest in eternal peace, and may her family and friends find comfort and strength in the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
