Maureen A. Marcello: A Life of Love and Creativity

Maureen was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and
friend. Her life’s passion revolved around raising her three daughters,
Nicole, Christine, and Justine. Throughout her marriage to her husband,
Tom, she found joy in their shared moments together. Much of her time was
dedicated to supporting and nurturing her family.
A highly creative individual, Maureen loved knitting, quilting, cooking, and
baking. In her daughters’ younger years, she would often spend countless
evenings at her sewing machine, crafting beautiful dresses for them to wear.
She created quilts, blankets, and gowns for her grandchildren, showcasing
her love through her handiwork. Eventually, she used this skill to establish
her own quilting business, helping those who needle a little help with quilting
projects. She also was an exceptional educator as she shared her skill and
knowledge base for quilting with others.
Maureen had a deep appreciation for animals and nature, with a love for
gardening and the ocean—a passion passed down from her parents. Known for
her gift of conversation, she would spend hours on the phone connecting with
friends and family. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she deeply
cherished her family and friends. Her memory will continue to live on in all
those who had the privilege of knowing her.
