Maureen Ficeto, 100 years loved, of Rocky Point, New York, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026. Born on March 17, 1926, in Long Island City, New York, Maureen lived a remarkable life filled with love, devotion, and family. She married the love of her life, Joe, and together they built a beautiful life and family that remained the center of her world. Maureen is survived by her loving daughters, Charlene and her husband Bill, and Missy and her husband Vinny; her cherished grandchildren Billy, Jen and Heather; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Michael and Lexi. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe, whose love she carried with her throughout her life and her great grandson Jordan. Maureen loved her family fiercely and unconditionally. Her greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved, celebrating their accomplishments, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She possessed a warmth and kindness that touched everyone she met, and she was loved and cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though words cannot fully express the loss felt by her family and friends, Maureen’s legacy of love, strength, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at The Branch Funeral Home in Rocky Point on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church in Rocky Point on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 9.30 am. Forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts.
