Meryl Seymour, age 90, of Ridge, NY died Saturday, July 26, 2014. Born April 21, 1924 in Glen Cove, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry and the late Milda (Vogel) VanWagner. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, LLoyd Seymour. She is survived by her loving daughters: Donna Wisneuski of DE, Daryl Monfared of Oceanside, CA, Sheri Anderson of Ridge, NY, sisters: Paula Holmes of MA, Anita VanWagner of FL, Patricia Swanson of CT, Sandra Cowan of MA, brother: Harry VanWagner of GA, ten Grandchildren, eighteen Great Grandchildren, and six Great Great Granchildren. A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm on Saturday, August 2 at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall Church, 18 Woodside Avenue, Patchogue at 4:00PM. A private cremation was arranged by family. Donna, Daryl, Sheri and families, I know here in CT, we are saddened at your Mom’s passing. How blessed we were to have had the opportunity to spend time with her when she lived in Canaan. As large as our family and extended family has grown, each branch and leaf is as important as the next. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mom, Joy and myself will be down on Sat.
