  1. Gina and Jeff, Tom and Jo-Ann, Anthony and Heather and other family members and friends: Barbara and I are so sorry for your loss. Michael was a great young man with so many attributes. He was blessed with a large family that we’ve come to know over the years. Michael squeezed in a lot of life in a short time. Whenever he visited his grandparents here in Florida, Michael made a positive impact upon those that met him. Michael was somewhat of an old soul and it showed in his enthusiasm when speaking with us old timers. Our condolences to all and we pray for Michael’s soul and that he rests in peace.

  16. candleMy son had Mr Kennedy as his teacher for fourth grade. It was his first year as a full time teacher and he was wonderful with the kids. He was forced to work during the most difficult time as a teacher and did his best to keep the kids motivated during the pandemic. He only had six months before the world turned upside down and he had to learn a new way to teach. He had regular zoom visits with the kids just to check in and keep them in engaged and he was always there with a smile. My older son also had the pleasure of meeting Mr Kennedy as he had him as a substitute often during his time in elementary school. He still talks about what a great teacher he was. I am sorry for your loss. He will be missed.

  17. We knew of Michael through his mom Gina. We only heard such great things about Michael.
Our deepest condolences, to the family …
    May you Rest In Peace

  18. I am so sorry to hear the loss of Michael. Mike was a good friend of mine at St. Joseph’s. We took some classes together, became friends and spent time hanging out outside of class. We even went to an end of the year gala together, and I’m glad I’ll always have that memory to cherish. He was very kind, funny, and all around a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with Mike’s family and loved ones. My deepest condolences.

  19. Marylou,Joe,Joey and Kevin. There are no words to express the sorrow for the loss of your beloved Grandson Michael. May you find comfort in the memories of the love you all shared for each other. Rest In Peace Michael. Love Fran, Larry and family

  20. candleOur sincerest condolences to Gina and family on the passing of Michael. Prayers for all of you. May he RIP.

  21. Dear Gina, I am heartbroken for you on the loss of your son Michael.. Holding you and your family close ❤️ Jean

  22. Michael Kennedy was one of the nicest guys to ever walk into our building. He was a gentle and loving soul who treated all of our students with patience and kindness. The students of Chippewa loved his Scooby-Doo lunch box and there was never a shortage of smiles and high fives when he passed them in the hallway. This is a devastating loss for everyone who knew and loved him. Sending love and prayers to his family that they find the strength to get through the next few days ahead. Rest in peace Mike. You will be missed.

  23. I had the pleasure of working with Mike at Chippewa. His smile and kind and gentle demeanor is what I will remember most about him. He was loved by students and colleagues alike and will be missed in the halls of Chippewa. Rest easy Mike-may you be at peace and one with the angels above…..
Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Condolences to all…..

    I

  24. candleDear Gina, Tom, Jo-ann, Anthony and family,
We are heartbroken to hear of Mikey’s passing. I fondly remember seeing Mikey as a baby many years ago when working with Tom at the pharmacy. Gina would bring him in to visit sometimes and we would all gather around him because he was such a happy, beautiful baby. May he dance with the angels in Heaven and be at peace. You are all in our thoughts, our prayers, and our hearts.
    Love always,
    Carmela and Dan Singer

  25. candleSad to see such a young soul go. I was an old student when he was a substitute. Deepest condolences for the family.

  26. Mr. Kennedy was my daughter’s 4th grade teacher. She said he was always kind and tried to make the class work fun. Even when the pandemic hit and the class went to remote learning he was there with them and made it work and made it interesting.
My son also knew Mr. Kennedy and liked talking with him at school. Mr. Kennedy will be missed. Our sincere sympathies to his family, friends and students.

  27. My son had Mr. Kennedy as his teacher in 4th grade (2 years ago). I usually have to pull information out of my son to learn about his day at school but that year I used to get a full report as soon as he saw me as he couldn’t wait to share what new funny thing Mr. Kennedy said or what prank he pulled on him that day. That was a testimony to me that Mr. Kennedy had a wonderful way with the kids, they loved him and were never bored in his class. I cannot believe he is gone. My condolences to the family and friends for their loss. One thing for sure, the memory of Mr. Kennedy will live in us forever.
