Morald James LaFountaine, age 82, of Miller Place died Thursday, February 22, 2018. Morald was born December 3, 1935 in Port Jefferson, NY. He is the son of the late Morald and the late Lena (Robinson) LaFountaine. He was the owner of Tri Corner Gulf in Rocky Point, NY. He is survived by his wife: Rose (Errico) LaFountaine, three sons: Lawrence LaFountaine and wife, Kristine of Miller Place, NY, Guy LaFountaine of Rocky Point, NY and Stephen LaFountaine of Riverhead, NY, his sister, Betty Moeller of Floral Park, NY. He also has three Grand Children; Lisa, Lauren and Wyatt LaFountaine. The Prayers will be offered 10:00 am on Monday, February 26 at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial will follow at Seaview Cemetery, Mount Sinai. Visiting hours will be Sunday, February 25 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. I often thought about Jimmy and Tori-Corner.
As a little girl in a small town there was not much I knew. I grew up right up the road. My Dad and Mom only brought their cars to Jimmy.
