Nancy Ann Staib, age 62, of Rocky Point died Saturday, March 21,2015. Nancy was born December 17, 1952 in Manhattan, NY. She was employed by King Kullen in Wading River, NY. She is survived by her husband: Dana W. Staib of Rocky Point , one daughter: Danielle Curtis of Florida and two sons: Frank Pizzurro of Pennsylvania and Joseph Pizzurro of Florida; her father Angelo Cervello of Rocky Point and mother Mary (Donovan) Cervello of Florida; her sister: Elaine McLaughlin of Florida and her brother: Louis Cervello of Rocky Point, NY; She is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY on Tuesday, March 24 at 10:30 am. All other arrangements are private. Everyone cannot be in the forefront of your mind all the time. Life has become much too busy. But, when something happens to a loved one, even the most simple things spark a memory.
Walking down the pasta aisle in the supermarket, Saturday afternoon and wow, 35th street 30 years ago, Nancy doing her usual cooking. Making so much fresh pasta that she had towels spread across the bed to dry it . Macaroni, pastry, cream puffs. No matter what it was, it was from scratch, and she was in her elememt.
