Neil M. Berns passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at the age of 75. He was a devoted husband, dad and poppa who adored his family. He was born on December 24, 1949 to Solomon and Ruth Berns.
Neil served in the United States Coast Guard. He was very proud and loved his country. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and after training with Sears Roebuck & Company, he proudly opened Master Craft Appliance Service. He worked in this industry for more than 3 decades until illness prohibited him from continuing to do so.
Neil enjoyed sitting on the front porch and talking to neighbors passing by. He succeeded in all he took an interest in and celebrated his families accomplishments. He enjoyed camping, fishing and baseball. Throughout his life he was always seen as a dedicated and hardworking individual.
Although Neil suffered greatly as of late, there is peace knowing he is smiling again and at rest. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to friends and family for their support and care during this difficult time. Neil’s spirit, love and good humor will be missed by all who knew him.
