Norene Laskowski (nee Sunden) on December 26, 2024 passed away peacefully in her home. She was surrounded by her loving family with whom she shared many warm memories along with her deep faith during her final days. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph (Joe) Laskowski. She is survived by her children Margaret (Chris), Suzanne (Michael), Joseph (Christine), Mary, Andrew (Barbara), and Norene (Boyd). Surviving grandchildren are Michelle, Michael (Kenneth), Carlo, Cara (Austen), Evan, Allison (Brendan), Daniel, Megan, Mei, Jack, Benjamin and great-grandchildren Brayden and Isabella. Norene’s greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a devoted disciple of Christ. Norene excelled at playing cards, particularly Bridge, enjoyed reading, traveling with Joe, and delighted in visiting the Jersey Shore with her family in her latter years. She was actively involved in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Marlton, NJ, where she and Joe raised their family and later in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Venice, FL during their retirement creating an immeasurable amount of lasting friendships. Her final journey was to Long Island, NY where she resided at the Bristal Assisted Living Community in Mount Sinai, NY to be closer to her family while leaving a lasting imprint on new friends and staff members.

Norene was one of the loveliest and strongest women I ever knew. Her charm and grace were well known in Harrington Lake. This news makes me sad but grateful that I was lucky enough to have known her.
