Oscar Lofmark

Oscar R. Lofmark, age 89, of Rocky Point died Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Mr. Lofmark was born November 25, 1924. He is the son of the late Oscar and the late Catherine (Shouldis) Lofmark. He had been employed by Time Incorporated in New York City. He was also a member of St. Jude's Council of the Knights of Columbus in Rocky Point. He is survived by his wife: Mary Wilkonski-Lofmark. His children Elizabeth Jackimowicz and William Lofmark. His sisters Caroline Malfese,and Lorraine Flynn. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first Wife, Theresa Lofmark son, Raymond Lofmark, and daughter, Nancy Lofmark. Knights of Columbus Services will be offered 7:30 pm Friday, April 4th at the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, April 5th at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Rev. Richard P. Hoerning officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale. Calling hours Friday, April 4th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. .
