Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I first met Patrick through my older brother back in September of 2008, during the final season at Shea Stadium. At the time, I was just a junior high school kid about to start 7th grade. From that day on, as we all grew and went through our own journeys, we shared many wonderful memories. Whether it was at Mets games, family gatherings, or just spending time together. He was truly a blessing to all of us. Many of my friends who had the honor of meeting him often said, “He’s one of a kind,” and I can honestly say, he really was. As we continue to navigate life’s challenges, I want to take this moment to thank him for the memories, the laughter, and the bond we shared. He was more than just a family man; he was a genuinely entertaining and kind-hearted person who brought so much joy to everyone around him, including me. Thank you, Patrick, for everything. You will be deeply missed, and your spirit will always remain in our hearts.

  2. I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Pat, affectionately known as “Pat Poulard” all in one sentence among his high dchool crew. Lucky to have gotten to know Pat through the high school years. Sending condolences to his family.

  3. I’m so sorry to learn that Pat passed away. We were friends in High school. I think of him every time I hear the song, “ILL Street Blues”. I liked seeing all the smiling photos of him in the video. He was always such a kind and caring person.

  4. Brother Patrick, may you rest eternally in peace. We spent countless hours on the blacktops in different towns playing basketball and having fun. We swam in neighborhood pools with friends like Chris and Jason and played the games that made the time so joyful. We listened to ALL of the records you had, I had, and we even made some of our own. We went into a studio in Hempstead on Main Street with Eurias as the Engineer and put together our first
three tracks. DJ Love Romeo was your call name as a DJ. We had the most fun in there making things and being creative We invented food concoctions after playing hours of basketball. I still remember all of the recipes. You will always be my brother for the kindness you shown me with an open heart. I am thankful and grateful to have been with you in the years growing up. The times we had in community, playing basketball, and clowning around will always be remembered. Before Kool Keith, YOU were Poppa Large. True indeed, I remember when you said it in 1988. May your family have the strength to bereave you under God and be given the solace required to endure this difficult moment. May the Lord God bless you all. I will see you in time Brother. Amen
