Paul Mazzola
January 11, 1953 – July 27, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Paul Mazzola, who passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at the age of 73.
Paul was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, uncle, cousin and loyal friend. He was a bright soul who made the world feel lighter simply by being in it. His laughter was contagious, his smile unforgettable, and his heart always had room for one more. He loved his family beyond measure and possessed the rare gift of turning friends into family, gathering people together with kindness, humor, and a genuine sense of belonging. Whether your paths crossed for decades or only a fleeting moment, he had a way of making you feel seen, welcomed, and loved.
Paul embraced life with enthusiasm and found joy in the people and pastimes he loved most. He enjoyed a day on the golf course, a spirited game of cards, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and talking about cars with anyone who shared his passion. He loved to travel, always looking forward to new adventures.
Paul’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was the family he cherished so deeply. He was a steadfast source of strength, encouragement, and compassion—the first to lend a helping hand, share a word of wisdom, or remind you that no burden was ever meant to be carried alone. He celebrated life’s simplest moments and found the extraordinary in ordinary days, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, with whom he shared a lifetime of love. He leaves behind his loving daughters, Michelle Basile and Melanie Winter, who will forever cherish his guidance, wisdom, humor, jokes and unconditional love.
He was predeceased by his beloved children, Marcie Mazzola and Danny Winter, as well as by his parents, Paul Mazzola and Emily Piat, all of whom he deeply adored.
He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Michael, Paul, and Hailey Basile, who brought immeasurable joy to his life and were the light of his world.
Paul is also lovingly survived by his devoted siblings: Doug and Natalie Mazzola, Greg and Kim Mazzola, Jeff and Laura Mazzola, and Stacy and George Alexandrou. Brothers and sisters in-laws, Bob and Pam Nill and Cindy and Mark Cordaro. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who became family and who will miss him deeply.
