My deepest condolences on the loss of Mrs. B. She welcomed me into her heart when I first moved to Long Island many, many years ago. She brought me great joy, wisdom, and home cooking. Many blessings on you Mrs. B, RIP
To My Extended Family (Jim and Phyllis & family), All my love, joy, and tears, to Marybeth, Maureen, Phyllis-Mary, Mark, Matthew and James !!! Your Mom was an inspiration and a blessing to me for over 50 years. She welcomed me with love and opened arms into her house and family all those years ago. I used to sit on that stoop (on Springfield Blvd.), with Bill (holding Phyllis-Mary’s hands in order to keep her from jumping up or off the stoop). Sheena would sit there next to her and me ! I can never, never forget !!!!!!!! I love you, my Brodie family !!! Tears now ! have to go ! Love always, Ciro

Dear Friend,We met as teenagers in High School. We waited for our boy friends to come home from WWII. We married shortly after and were each otherΓÇÖs Maid of Honor. Stayed in touch throughout the years through happy and sorrowful times. We rejoiced to hit 90 year-plus. I am so happy to have our memories. You will be missed,Eileen
My love and respect to a wonderfully kind and sweet ‘Mrs. Brodie’. Fond memories of our visit to the San Diego Zoo, where we were happy to sit and catch up on our lives. We both agreed, the animals would not miss us staring at them. You are a STAR! Your ability to overcome adversity truly was amazing. Everyone loved you, a gift from God, that is our Phyliss Brodie.Thank you for being in my life. My condolences to the entire Brodie family. Love Libby
This world has lost a precious angel! While 91 years young, any of you who knew her remembers that she had the physical and mental capacity of a 60 year old scholar, with a contagious sense of humor and love of people. More importantly, she was a women of incredible faith and wisdom, a woman of substance who taught everyone who had the honor of knowing her what love was. Having her in your life was a true gift, and her legacy of a lifetime of hundreds of friends pays tribute to this. She personified Love, true unconditional Love. Despite a life of many tragedies, her family, friends and faith were what she lived for, and she used laughter in the best possible way to get through many difficult times and help those around her do the same. It was impossible to be in a room with her or talk to her on the phone and not be constantly laughing! She would not allow lifeΓÇÖs numerous challenges keep her from rising up, a woman of incredible inner strength and conviction, always believing that God, Mother Mary and Family were all that were important in life, and her wisdom was remarkable. To me, she was my second mother and beloved Aunt, and a true saint. She was an extraordinary woman, chosen by God for a higher purpose than most of us can imagine, and I was blessed to have her in my life. My entire family and I will miss her so very much, but she has made an indelible mark on us, and she will never be forgotten.
My sincere condolences to the entire Brodie Family on the loss of your Mom. I worked for several years with Bill in Florida. I was always so very fond of Bill and it broke my heart that we lost him at such a young age but now Mother & Son are reunited. Bill always spoke so affectionately about his Mom, indeed about all his family. As my desk was close to his office it was hard not to hear the stories he shared with Carole! He always took such joy in giving me a hard time…..especially when I was pregnant with my eldest son, Tomas. I’ve just now discovered that Tomas shares the same birthday as your Mom – June 10th. Bill was such a wonderful person to work with! Later I got to know Maureen & John after we lost another very special person (Lou Dalessandris) May you all gain strength and comfort from all the very happy memories you have of your family times spent together. Every blessings to you all, sincerely, Karen Reilly (Florida, originally Ireland)
