I will miss you forever Father Frank and I have loved being your “assistant to the pastor” at St. John the Baptist. May you rest in eternal peace, and in your words, “you are now with God.” ❤️🙌
Paul and I are very sad and surprised at Monsignor’s passing at such a young age. Our sincere condolences to his family.
Fr. Was a wonderful priest and inspiration to our family while he was ministering to our home parish ,St. Patrick’s in Glen Cove..
Our family is saddened to learn of his passing but we take solace knowing that he is with the Lord. ✝️
Stephen Alcermes and family
He was a great influence in my son’s and grandson’s lives.
He had a generous and open heart and always made me feel welcome.
I’ll always remember his humor and warmth.
A neighbor in Smithtown for years as well as his wonderful family
Rest in peace Father Frank
Farther Frank was a paster in St Elizabeth and he was wonderful. He brought the community back to church with his homilies. I was shocked to hear of his passing and missed him when he left St Elizabeth.
He was always fun to be with and knew how to encourage me when things were tough. After St. Pat’s, when he was studying at the North American College in Rome, he organized a trip for our pastor and a group of parishioners. That trip – with Father Frank as our tour guide and spiritual guide – is one of my most cherished memories. God bless you and keep you, Father Frank.
Great memories of Fr. Frank when he came to St.Patrick’s in Glen Cove. One of the good ones for sure. He always seemed to be interested in the kids and us parishioners. I seem to recall that he did the blessing of the fleet in Hempstead Harbor one year and I know for sure that he went out on my brother-in-law’s boat fishing once or twice and blessed it for him. I’ve met only a few priests since then that matched him and the ministry he delivered in the short time he was here.
Mother Mary watch over him and his family.
So sorry to see you go!Thought you would always be here for a long time , but God had other plans.I know your light will be shining eternally in heaven. God bless you Fr.Frank and thankyou for being you.You will never be forgotten.
Father Frank was God’s gift to us at St. John the Baptist. He will be sorely missed. See you in heaven!

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen
It is such a sad time for all those who were so fortunate to have had Father Frank in their lives. He was an important part of our family. His kindness, tenderness, loving and caring nature was a shining example for all. He will be missed greatly. God has blessed all of us for the time we had with Father Frank. Now he watches over us from Heaven. May he rest in peace now and always.
Father Frank was a shining light. I grew up in church but moved away due to life challenges. Father Frank touched my soul when I moved to South Huntington in 2001. He inspired my husband to come to church with me in 2004, and he bc a better catholic than I. Father Frank inspired faith, love, and godly principles in a way all could relate. My children’s love of God was bestowed in part because of him. His gift of rosary beads to children at their communion from the holy land, attending all children plays and events, showing God’s love can be seen in nature, people, and animals was cherished. Was heart broken 💔 when he moved on from St Elizabeth to show the love of god to others. My joy lessened with traditional church afterwards but never the love Father Frank in how he inspired my faithful and family’s hearts. Thank you to Father Frank for your love and devotion to all, and his beloved family for supporting him in his gift to sharing the glory of God to all those he interacted with! Rest in peace in the glory of heaven with God Our Father! A treasure, bless Father Frank Schneider
We will miss you very much.
