My deepest condolences to the Alexander family. Although I was never able to meet Mr Alexander I know that he left behind a great legacy from knowing his daughter Kamika. Her love for him was shown in the ways that she cared for him in his final days and I can imagine how much he loved her, his family, and his friends. I know that he will not be forgotten and will be honored by his family . May he rest in peace.

Ruben was a good man with a kind heart. All those years on the road, he made sure that we were all doing alright.
He had a tea, a remedy for every illness or a meal if he felt we needed it. He always gave positive encouragement and strength. Touring would not have been the same without him in the band.
After one of our many conversations he presented me with the Scofield study Bible as he said I wad reading the wrong one.
I will always treasure it and his memories.

We travelled many roads of many countries together & ate from your pot wherever we laid or head to rest. You made sure we were fed with only the purist of foods made with the purist intentions. Health & spiritual wellness was your daily goal. Jah has watched you read your chapter a day and seen the path you’ve made for the people around you to do the same. Your intentions have always been with the father first and he has decided you are too holy to remain on the earth. Knowing this I can move on knowing you are at peace in heaven. I I remember meeting Rueben for the first time at his restaurant in New York with Buju and the Crew. Hiis warm welcoming smile was present on that day and remained whenever we would meet up . . It was always great to be in his presence. Sleep on Ben, you will truly be missed.
