Richard Greco

Richard C Greco was born on October 12th, 1928 in the Bronx, NY to parents Pasquale and Anna Greco. He was raised in Brooklyn, NY where he was an avid sports fan and played football at Brooklyn Prep. He worked at a local movie theater where he met his soulmate, Edith Grace Hartwig.

On September 23rd, 1950, Richard and Edith Grace married and began their 73 year companionship. They bore three children in Brooklyn, NY, before ultimately moving to Long Island where they raised their family. During this time Richard had a successful career as a claims adjuster where he developed his affinity to the construction business. He ultimately applied these skills to buying land and building a home in Tierra Verde, Florida, which set an example for his children of commitment and dedication.

On June 16th, 2023, Richard passed away at the age of 94 after completing a long and fulfilling life. His life and legacy will forever be cherished by his surviving loved ones: his wife, Edith Grace; siblings, Loretta and Thomas; children Debi and son-in-law Hector; Donna, Richard and grandchildren Adrian and his wife Eliza, Katharine, and Alison. Richard will be dearly mourned and forever loved by the people who were touched by him during his lifetime.
