Rita L. Anzalone, age 90, of Rocky Point, NY, died Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Born September 30, 1924 in Greenpoint, NY, she was the daughter of the late Canio and the late Grace (Sergio) Lagala. She was employed in New York City, NY as a Secretary. She is survived by her loving daughter: Gina Rapp of Elmont, NY, son: John Anzalone of Rocky Point, NY, sister: Antoinette Brucato of FL, and brother: Neil Lagala of NJ; She also has five cherished Grandchildren. Predeceased by her beloved Husband, Joseph Anzalone. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:00 am on Friday, February 27 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Monsignor William G. Breslawski Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
