Robert Michael Braunstein, 59, of Miller Place, NY, and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on October 29, 2022. Son of the late Joseph and Margaret Braunstein, he was born in Philadelphia on September 23, 1963. He was the beloved fiancé of Maria Primiano, with whom he shared the most recent years of his life. Maria made ‘Bob’ extremely happy, and he was very devoted to making a life with her.
Robert was a graduate of Father Judge High School in Northeast Philadelphia, where he ran track and participated in the Penn Relays. He was an avid cook, a car enthusiast, and a Philadelphia sports fan. He was a very dedicated HVAC engineer and loved helping his family when needed.
He was the loving father of Nancy (Frank) Homolka, Robert Michael Braunstein II, and Ashley Anne Braunstein. Devoted ‘Wubby’ of two grandchildren, Abigail Marie and Joshua Thomas. He was survived by his brothers Joseph (Anne) Braunstein, George (Cathy) Braunstein, and his sisters Margaret Braunstein, and Karen Smith; he was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
