Robert C. Tarangelo (Bob) went home to be with his Lord on Friday, November 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in New York City on October 15, 1927 to the late Vito and Domenica Tarangelo. At a young age Bob first enlisted in the Navy then transferred to the Army and served his country proudly. He received the Army of Occupation Medal (Germany) and a Good Conduct Medal.Robert grew up on Prince St. in NYC. He loved to travel, cruise and to spend time with his family and friends but most of all he loved his yard. Bob was active in the Men's Club at Nativity Catholic Church, and volunteered at South Seminole Hospital for 15 years.Bob leaves behind his beautiful bride of 57 years Marie, daughter Lori Julian and her husband Michael Julian, 3 Grandchildren Dina Marie, Gabriella and Amanda. Bob is also pre-deceased by his daughter Marie Tarangelo-Venezia.Bob will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
