  6. Deepest sympathy to the Africano family. Rob was a true professional who will be missed by all he worked with. His can do attitude shined through all he did. Aside from work, Rob often spoke of his love for his children. I hope they find some comfort in knowing that Rob was held in highest esteem by his co-workers and customers.

  14. Rob was a great mentor to me at KYB, but above all he was a great friend. I truly appreciate all the words of wisdom and lessons he shared with me.
    He will be sorely missed.
    May he rest in peace

  15. To my brother Robbie
When reflecting on family as an adult, I often think that having a brother while growing up is what I missed the most. I was never blessed with a brother as a child but having you as my brother for over 40 of my almost 64 years on this earth has been a blessing for which I will forever be thankful.
    Rest in Peace my brother.
All my love forever-until we meet again…Billy

  16. Rob was great person and will be greatly missed by all. He was a big part of the KYB family and we hold our memories of his dry sense of humor for years to come. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family & friends. RIP Rob!

  17. candleThe heart of our family is broken and the world is much dimmer now. I will miss you every day for the rest of my life my sweet uncle. You were and always will be my favorite.

  18. My brother Robert was loving, kind, clever, and funny. In many ways, he was the best of us.
A child born on Sunday, the Sabbath day, is said to be loving, giving, good and happy, and are extra special, gifted with an extra bit of God’s grace. Robert was all those things. He was born on Dec. 23, 1962, on Sunday and passed away on Aug. 8th, on Sunday, the Sabbath day, an extra special man, gifted with that extra bit of God’s grace, called home. While we are devastated, Heaven is certainly a more joyful and funny place because he is there. And I know in my heart, the first words he said in heaven were, “Mom, dad Sonny boy is here.”
