Robert J. Kertz, age 81, of Ridge, NY died Saturday, October 12, 2013. Born January 10, 1932 in Richmond Hill, NY, he was the son of the late John and the late Lillian (Willenberg) Kertz. He was employed by Anton Smit & Co., Deer Park, NY as a Purchasing Agent. He is survived his loving daughters: Barbara Dougherty of Rocky Point, NY, Susan Steinberg of Smithtown, NY, Diane McQuade of Nesconset, NY, and Nine Grandchildren. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, October 19 at St. Anselm's Episcopal Church, Woodville Road, Shoreham, NY with Rev. Mark Clevenger officiating. Burial will follow Washington Memorial Park, Mount Sinai on Saturday, October 19 at 12:30 pm. Calling hours will be Friday, October 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
