Dear grandfather of Tracy, John, Lauren, Dan, Sara & Adam; Adam. Cherished great-grandfather of Gina, Joseph, Ava and Anthony. Visitation Monday 4-8 pm at Branch Funeral Home, 190 E. Main St., Smithtown. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:00 am at the Funeral Home. Interment Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington, NY

From Paul Haslinger. Love and peace to Robert, Susan and family. It was so exciting when my mom would tell me that the Allevas are coming to visit on a sunday afternoon. What is more awesome than that is your Dad entering the gates of heaven, being greeted by God, the angels, your mom, family and friends. May the Lord raise Bob up on eagle’s wings and hold him in the palm of his hand.

Our condolences to the Alleva family. We were just going through old photos of our visits back east and have have so many fond memories … one is a wonderful picture of Uncle Bob and his brother in law Ray out sailing, in another a family group picture and we are enjoying a summer afternoon on the back porch, along with so many other happy times spent visiting. You will be missed
