I didn’t know you personally but I heard many good things from your daughter, Diane based on my interactions working with her at P.S. 128. I can see so many great qualities that were instilled in her by you and her Mom. She especially shared how proud you were to have served this country and your dedication to this country and I appreciate that service. As God has called you home, may you rest in peace knowing you have left a wonderful legacy with your family.

Bob was a good neighbor and a great friend for many years. I consider myself fortunate to have known him and been his friend. I miss our daily morning get togethers, on the street in front of his house, to spend an hour or two to talk about anything and every thing, including sharing stories of our experiences in the military and always throw in allot of laughs as well. It was a fabulous way to start each day.
Bob always had a warm greeting and cheerful hello to everyone who passed us in the morning. He was a true gentlemen.
I can say without any doubt, Bob was a devoted husband and father and a true patriot who was proud to have served in the military.
I will miss Bob. Rest in peace my buddy, thank you for your friendship. Until we meet again.
Hi my name is Michelle and my husband is Oscar.
We lived right next door to Bob & Joan.for about 11 years. He was just the best! He would always kid around with me and tell me stories about the neighborhood and the Korean war. Oscar and I just loved him . He was like the Protector of the block. :). I always looked forward to seeing him stand outside the house so we could have our daily talks.
He is going to be missed by us so, so much.. Our prayers go out to Joan and the whole family.
Fond childhood memories with you uncle Bobby. I’m sure you were happy to hear “Welcome Home” from so many who were waiting. You will be missed and certainly celebrated.
Our deepest sympathies to the Massaro family. His legacy continues in you and your families and you will always carry his love in your hearts. We will certainly remember the stories that Bruce would share around the Campfire about his dad.
