I’ve known Bob since 1977 and it seems I saw him or Freddie almost on a daily basis. I would check the progress of the job they were on in anticipation of my work to follow. Never in all my days before or since have I seen the dedication and professionalism these giant of men display. I thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie we shared during all the years. We argued and laughed ( mostly laughed ) about the most inane things. Bob loved a good joke so i decided to tell the same one every two weeks or so.. he was a pretty good listener until he realized what I was doing. The look on his face every time was priceless.

Gerard, John Rouse and I have known Bob since 1977 and have spent many days months and years working together. He will never be forgotten and his memory will live on in all of us. Bob always made us smile he didn’t ask for much just respect. There are so many fond memories that I could write about but for now all I want to do is send my condolences to the family and wish them peace during this terrible time. It’s a big loss May his memory be for a blessing for all.
