I am so sorry about the passing of Aunt Berta. May God hold her in the palm of his hand.

I always enjoyed our family gatherings out on the island. You were always kind.
Although I have not seen my Aunt Bertha in many years before she passed I Know she was a very loved and happy woman. One of my fondest memories was the family gatherings. When all of us cousins were little and our families would go to the beach to dig for clams, bring our buckets of clams and sandy bodies back to Aunt Bertha and Uncle Bernies house to let the fun continue. Aunt Bertha had such a caring heart and a smile for everyone. I just want to say thank you to the Afanador girls for allowing me and so many others to enjoy the pictures and stories of your mom and all that you girls did for your mom. She truly has raised wonderful caring daughters. Rest in peace Aunt Bertha�..
