Roger Scott Maier

Roger Scott Maier, age 74, of Brookhaven, New York and Naples, Florida died Sunday, August 31, 2025. Roger was born June 26, 1951 in Rockville Center, New York. He was the son of the late Norman Martin and the late Susan (Scott) Maier. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam war. He was employed by Grumman Bethpage, New York as a Machinist. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lucille (Statuto) Maier, his loving children, Jonathan Maier of Ridge, New York and Jessica Maier of Shirley, New York, and his dear siblings, Claudia King of East Patchogue, New York, and Richard Maier of Canby, Oregon. Roger was predeceased by his brother Russell Maier of Los Angeles, California. He is also the cherished grandfather of L.J. Brooks, Legend Thomas, Justin Maier and Josephine Maier. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Burial with military honors will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11:00 am. Visiting hours will be Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4 PM - 8 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
