She was a formidable combination of strength and tenderness, Knowing her was a privilege; spending time with her and making her laugh was one of the great joys of my life. Being loved by her always strengthened my faith in God and family. I smile at the thought of her reunion with Nanny, Jack, Joan, Davey, Billy, “Brother” and Alice, and the rest of the family that she missed so much. Thank you, Aunt Rosemary for all the love, laughter and light you gave me all my life.
Nanny, you will never know how much you are loved. Thank you for leading this family with such strength and grace. You are an incredible role model and I will forever be grateful for the friendship we had. You are one my best friends, I will miss chatting on the phone with you about everything, and anything but don’t you think for a second that I will ever stop trying to make you laugh. Please give the gang a big hug from all of us. Missing you so much but relieved to know you are resting in peace.
I am so grateful to have had the most loving and generous mother-in-law anyone could ask for. “Nanny” will always be in my heart.
