Ruth Gallagher Age 81 of Shoreham, NY passed on April 30, 2014. Beloved wife of Bart. Loving mother of Bartley (Colleen), Sean (Lisa), Kathleen (Frank) Cohane, Patricia (Nick) Magro, Maureen (Thomas) Siracusano, and Eileen (William) Repoli. Cherished grandmother of thirteen. Dear sister of Mark Hammerstone.

My condolences to all my Gallagher Family members and the Frankenfields too. Aunt Ruth was a very kind and wonderful person. She will be missed. Aunt Ruth I know you are with the angels now pray for me. Your Loving Niece, Jann Marie
Bart, Bartley, Sean, Kathleen, Patricia, Maureen and Eileen appreciate everyone’s prayers and remembrances of Ruth/Mom. Her 13 grandchildren also thank you for your thoughts. Ruth was a special person to us all, wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and we will miss her dearly.
We will always hold warm memories of Ruth in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gallagher family.

My deepest sympathy to my dear Uncle Bart and all of my Gallagher and Frankenfield cousins. Aunt Ruth will always be remebered for her love of family, her passion for photograpy, her wonderful dancing, her sweet smile and for the legacy she leaves behind. She will be in our hearts for ever, until we meet again in everlasting life.
You have taught me many things I hope to keep with me and share with my children and grandchildren one day. I am proud to be your granddaughter and when I one day travel the world as you did, you will be very much alive within me.
Ruth was a dear friend and for fifty years took photos of our North Babylon friends gatherings. She will be sorely missed. Our condolences to Bart and her family.

We had the wonderful opportunity to be lucky enough to live across the street from Bart and Ruth in Shoreham for 5 years. They are a shining example of true love and companionship. I always admired the way they interacted together. I loved spending time with Ruth and enjoying all her dear photos and stories of her family. She was a wonderful support for me after having my third child. I loved Ruth and she will be deeply missed.
