Uncle Sammy grew up w my parents in LIC. I believe Sammy played softball w my dad Mike. However I had the enormous pleasure of going to “police camp” one summer w my Aunt Ann Marie and Uncle Eugene. We spent the week w Sammy aunt Margie and the three kids. I had the time of my life and knew why my dad loved him so much and spoke so highly of him and Margie. Some of my sweetest childhood memories were had during that week. Tara do u remember Indian Head mountain? It’s been decades since I’ve seen u all but I love u and my heart is broken for all of u. Sammy was one in a million!
