Stanley Carl Jankowski of Mt Sinai, New York, took his final flight home on November 14, 2023. He lived a rich 90 years and is survived by his wife Lucille (married 60 years), daughters Jeanine Viscount (Nick), Michele Jankowski (Brian), son Bruce Stephan (Joan), and granddaughter Jordan Viscount. He was preceded in death by his parents Julia and Ben Jankowski and sister Dorothy Jankowski.
Stanley attended LaSalle Academy in NYC and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Oklahoma. He was an airline mechanic with Delta Airlines until his retirement as a chief mechanic after 33 years, at the age of 58.
In his free time and after his retirement, Stanley enjoyed his family, traveling with his wife, fishing, hunting, and his time with friends at the Mt Sinai Yacht Club.
A Catholic service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, November 18th, at St. Louis de Montfort, located at 75 New York Ave, Sound Beach, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a charitable organization of your choice.
