Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. candleGoing to miss you terribly! The early years on the golf course and the later years for lunch will always bring a smile thinking of you. RIP my friend!

  2. candleDear Dave, Ethan, Samantha and Devin,
We are so sorry to hear about Teresa. Please know that you are in our prayers for God’s comfort and grace.

  3. Dear David, Ethan, Samantha and Devin,
I remember Teresa as a wise, gentle, courageous and humble woman from the time when we were at North Shore UMC. She will always stay as a beautiful and lovely woman both inside and outside in our memories.

  4. candleWhat a shock! I can’t believe this wonderful person is gone. She was the youngest of the nine first cousins on the “Snyder” side of the family. We will miss her wicked sense of humor and her big heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dave, Ethan, Devin, Samantha and big brother Tom during this difficult time.

  5. Henry Van Dyke, I am Standing on the Seashore

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side,
spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts
for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength.
I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck
of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then, someone at my side says, “There, she is gone.”

    Gone where?

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.
Her diminished size is in me — not in her.

And, just at the moment when someone says, “There, she is gone,”
there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices
ready to take up the glad shout, “Here she comes!”
