He will be greatly missed đź’”
I was lucky one day at Chase Bank a few weeks ago to meet this amazing, awesome Beautiful woman named Pat.She asked if she could pet my dog-a Golden Doodle named Summer.
We became instant friends.
I was lucky to hear Tim’s voice in the car ride home from the hospital.
She forgot to pick up some groceries from Citarella market on Broadway already paid for.
I called and said I could drive them out to where they lived and both of them said No!
Listening to Pat talk about him I felt I got a sense how they both are as parents, spouses and grandparents.
He is with God and is at peace.

He will be missed.

Kristen: “Hey dad, Jakes father likes to fish too.” Who knew that those words from my elementary school age daughter would be the start of a great friendship that lasted 30 wonderful years. We shared so many memories of fishing together over the years. Together on my boat or his, we caught, bass, porgies, tuna, tilefish and numerous other species. We spent many a breakfast at the local diner talking about family, friends and of course fishing! More than once saying, “Boy, I hope god doesn’t turn out to be a fish”.
None of our joint fishing ventures was more memorable than the NY State record swordfish we caught in the Hudson canyon. Tim and I, along with two of our friends Gary and Dominic, set sail out of Moriches and hooked into a monster! After a battle that lasted over 4 hours, (with Tim and I taking turns at the wheel – backing down on the fish), we landed a fish of a lifetime! Still the NY State record at 540 pounds.
Tim was much more to me than just a cherished fishing buddy. He was a great friend that I was blessed to have shared my life with! I miss you already my friend! Love you buddy!
BTW Timmy – If god is a fish, PLEASE tell him I’m sorry!
May The Eternal Light shine upon him.
Tim’s love for Pat, their children and their spouses, and of course their beautiful grandchildren was priceless. And I know how much they all loved, and will always love, Tim. My heart breaks for Pat and everyone in their wonderful, loving family. I know that Tim will be watching over them from Heaven. I hope he sends them signs from Heaven just as Glenn has to all of us. Rest in Peace, dear, sweet Tim.
Love,
Maria
I remember Tim from the Coral Club. We had fun at the picnics and New Years Day. We laughed and had fun during those times. What I remembered the most was his soft laughter and calmness in everything. Even though we lost track of each other I always thought of him around 4th of July and New Years.
May he Rest in Peace.
