  1. I will never forget the many great memories we shared on golf trips, at the Marsh, at numerous Pubs, at Saratoga, Belmont and Gulfstream. Your knowledge of Oldies and Sports Trivia was surpassed by no one.
Our sincere condolences to Peg, the boys, the rest of your family and your “Bravest” brothers.

  4. There aren’t enough words to express my sadness on Vinny’s passing.
However just know that time which is a great healer will bring you the peace that you seek.
Having been fortunate to have been in his company at Eagle Marsh playing golf, his humor and company were second to none.
He will be missed by many.
    Rest in peace brother.
    Don “Spanky “ MacLennan

  5. Many “, many laughs over the years. Vinny’s favorite stories were about John Hart, Tom Fried and Vinny when they were Lt.’s in Engine.53 in Harlem. You will be missed ♥️♥️👩🏻‍🚒

  6. candleTo Vinny’s family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I’ll always treasure the memories of golfing with Vinny and sharing drinks at the club—those were some of the best times. His intelligence was truly something to admire; no one could beat him at trivia contests, and it was always impressive to watch him in action. At every party, you didn’t have to wonder where Vinny was—he lit up the room with his energy and charm. I’ll deeply miss our conversations, our laughs, and the way we could just sit and shoot the breeze. Rest easy, my friend.

    Love,
    Chip And Lynn

  7. candleWe were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Vinny’s passing. I will always remember the memories of the good times we had together especially when we played golf. To Peg and family our deepest sympathy. He will be missed may he rest in peace.

  8. It was an honor to work with Vinnie in Eng. 53 and a privilege to have him as one of our closest friends. He will be sorely missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with Peggy and the boys.

  9. I was sadden to hear of Vinnie’s passing. So many wonderful memories. He defiantly love to give my husband John the business.
His humor will be missed. My deepest sympathies to you Peg and the boy. Rest in peace Vin.

    • Prays to the Moore family. Very sad to hear about Vinnies passing. He and my dad (Retired DC Steve Hession) were best of friends and golfing buddies. I remember playing golf with the Emerald Society years ago and would just sit back and laugh at Vinnie busting on dad and Mr Hart. His humor was one of a kind. I find peace knowing Vinnie and dad are together again playing 18. RIP Sir.

  10. We are so sorry to hear that Vinny passed away.
I always looked forward to Vinny coming down in October to Florida. His friendship will be missed.
Our condolences 💐 to Peg and his family.
    Rest In Peace ❤️

  11. Some friendships run deeper than others and he was one of them for sure. I had 25yrs of fun, laughs. and just great Times & memories with the Vince. He will be sorely missed by me & everyone who knew him.
Rest in peace my man, see you on the other side.

  12. candleTo my pal and friend. It won’t be the same. Always looked forward to hearing your words of wisdom. ONE of the best. Rest easy buddy you did one heck of a job.

  13. candleVinny was a big part of my life over many years getting together for holidays, A role model to everyone that came in contact with him. When you think of a NY city firefighter he was the first person that would come to mind .
Lots of great memories. He will always be remembered.

  14. I am his “roof partner” here in the Jensen Beach Country Club. He will be missed and I send my sincere condolences to all. May he rest in peace.
