Vincenza Guccione, age 89, of Rocky Point, NY died Friday, September 20, 2013. Born January 22, 1924 in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Peter and the late Calogera (Corsello) Caramanna. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gaetano Guccione. She was employed by Brooks Brothers, New York City, New York as a Seamstress. She is survived by her loving sons: Vincent Guccione of Middle Island, NY, Peter Guccione of Rocky Point, NY, Anthony Guccione of Holbrook, NY, Nine Grandchildren, and Ten Great Grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Tuesday, September 24 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY with Rev. Richard Hoerning officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram on Tuesday, September 24 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be Monday, September 23 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home. I will miss my mother in law will all of my heart and will always cherish the time we spent together. She was always there when her family needed her and was the most loving and caring mother in the world. Even though she is gone her memory will live on in all of our hearts forever.
