GROOTENBOER – Warner H.,
of Smithtown, NY, at the age
of 88, passed away peacefully
and surrounded by his loving family on June 12, 2025.
Beloved husband of Eleanor
Grootenboer for 61 years.
Loving father of Laura (Billy)
Sullivan and David (the late
Tara) Grootenboer. Cherished
grandfather to Matthew,
Katelyn, Danielle, Jessica,
and the late Samantha. Predeceased by his two sisters,
Yvonne and Irene. Warner is
also survived by his two nieces,
Bianca and Monique. A proud
American who emigrated to
the U.S. from the Netherlands
in 1960. Warner achieved and
lived the American dream by
building a successful construction company still in existence
today, Firekote Corporation.
Forever a Proud Veteran of the
Dutch Green Beret Commandos, ~ Nunc Aut Nunquam. Reposing at the Branch Funeral
