Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Loved my uncle so much and will always miss him. Especially calling him Butch, which was his nick name. Never knew that until many years later. Loved him passion for cars, staying healthy and sports.

  2. Watching Butch’s service with fond memories. Overheard you all hanging out beforehand. The Coopers remain one of the most fun families I know. I’m sure those in heaven are watching and laughing along with you!. I send prayers and condolences.

  3. Bill was a true gentleman and a gem of a man. All his friends loved him, and he never hesitated to do all he can to help a friend when needed. I will miss him very much. I met Bill at the gym about 30 years ago and we’ve been friends since. His smile, kindness and wit were gifts! He was the “mayor of the gym” because of his magnanimous and positive energy. Rest in peace Dear Bill! You will always be remembered!

My deepest condolences to his sister Diane and to his nephews and neuves.

  5. I only had one conversation with William when he graced this earth, however it resonated with me. I could sense he was a true gentleman, & a kind person, with a passion for life. Our camaraderie was regarding the southern NYC view from his home, at Winston Towers. The words & his voice ring in my head from that phone call, & will ring in my head , always,!1 It was how he said, “ I never had a bad day !”, & I understood, it was all about the VIEW , my friend! May your spirit dance each day in the magical view, in which you relished endlessly, & always will! God Bless you William 🏙️ 🌆 🌃

  6. candleI just found out that Bill passed away, my sincere condolences to his family and friends. I met Bill 35 years ago at a gym and over the next ten or so years got to know him as one of the most positive, upbeat, kind person that God ever created. It was amazing to me, and everyone who knew him, of how intensely he “lived life”; his passion for fitness and cars was truly contagious. Bill didn’t have an ounce of fat on him, but his workouts were legendary; on the stationary bike in the gym he would work out so hard that he would have to clean the sweat off the ground around the cycle! Bill also had the absolutely cleanest, shiniest black Corvette in the country; there isn’t a new car that rolls off the production line that could compete with his cars, just another reminder of Bill’s attention to detail. Every day, after a long day of work, I would look forward to going to the gym to see Bill and his absolutely infectious smile and 100% upbeat attitude. No matter what the weather, or time of the year, or whatever obstacles came in his way, Bill remained 100% POSITIVE. Just thinking back on the good old days and my time spent in Bill’s company brings a smile to my face. It was a blessing to be able to call Bill my friend over the years; I wish we had reconnected more when I moved out of the area. Rest easy my friend, you will always inspire me to “never have a bad day”. May God Bless Bill with eternal happiness and comfort his family.
