I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Links passing.He was so sweet and such a pleasant man,I knew him from being a customer when I was the Main Cashier in Walgreens in Smithtown.

Dear Brenda, Beth and the Link Family,

Our sincerest condolences on the passing of your dad. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy in you, your siblings and his grandchildren! Having spent many years playing and developing a passion for soccer, I will always appreciate him for his significant impact in the early days of the Hauppauge Youth Organization making that possible for me and so many others. It was a huge part of my childhood. Mom saved everything so somewhere in a box I’ve got more than a few of those HYO certificates signed by your dad. Wishing you all peace during this difficult time!

To Brenda, Brian and the whole extended Link family,
Forgive me for the late condolences. I was sad to hear of Mr Link’s passing. It’s been decades since I played HYO sports (closer to a half century) but I still remember when they named the fields for your Dad. He had a great impact on the entire Hauppauge community!
