William R. Ginley, age 77, of Rocky Point died Thursday, July 27, 2017. William was born July 3, 1940 in Long Island City, NY. He is the son of the late Joseph F. and Mary (Cooley) Ginley. He was employed by New City Transit Auth as a Mechanic. He is survived by his wife: Anne R. (Watson) Ginley , two daughters: Angela Jackson of Rocky Point, NY and Catherine Gandley of Rocky Point, NY, two sons: William J. Ginley of Shoreham, NY and Dennis Ginley of Centereach, NY and one brother: Joseph Ginley of Warwick, NY. He also has ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 am on Tuesday, August 1 at St. Anthony Of Padua R.C. Church, 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches. Visiting hours will be Monday, July 31 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Business Route 25A, Rocky Point, NY.
