I have fond memories of Mrs. Plank from my childhood as I was best friends with her daughter Alison. She was always gentle and quiet, very much a lady born in England. Enjoying occasional Sunday dinners at the Plank house after church I recall her delicious mashed potatoes with cheese added in…a novelty for me! She had a busy household to run and I always had fun visiting the Plank home.

What a beautiful tribute to your mom. I always remember her interacting with her many grandchildren soft spoken and sweet. She always made her grandchildren’s birthday cake of their choice (homemade). What a wonderful and full life surrounded by so much love. Rip Mrs Plank I can just imagine the celebration awaiting you with your spiritual family in heaven ❤️ Andrea and Don Bianco

So sorry for your loss Karen, Wendy, Alison, John and Jennifer. I have so many wonderful memories from Queens Village spending time with the Planks. Embody Methodist. Remember going to camp in Shelter Island and renting cottages, fishing and exploring with the families together.
