So many memories I’d like to share. Louis was so kind. We had something in common, we were both foster kids. I remember sharing our journeys and talking about our childhood which gave us something to relate to. As I got to know him more during the years of living at his house, to holidays like Christmas and Easter, I learned so much about his passions and his dreams. We loved to talk about music together. As I am a singer, he would express his love for rock music, country and to 70’s songs. His love for the beetles drew him to his guitars and drum sets. I remember when he taught me to play the guitar, prob my first moment ever having a male figure show me anything. I appreciated our talks about spirituality and our love for God. If I were to remember one topic Louis mentioned the most, it was about forgiveness. Walking by faith made his life hopeful and also a happier man. He had so many hopes and dreams about having land and owning horses, to doing real estate and working from home. It saddens me that he did not accomplish those dreams he would always talk about. I’m happy I got to see him though, as he moved closer to Florida to be with the family who really cared about him. Although we weren’t blood related, he was still an uncle and a true male figure in my life that has taught me to put God above all else and walk in his faith. I am sorry I couldn’t be there for you while you were sick, And you had to deal with sickness alone, that must have been scary but I know you had God in your thoughts and I know you left this earth knowing you were cherished and loved. I know you’ll be watching over the Angulo family and just know we will be thinking of you. 🤍🐎
