I heard of John’s death with great sorrow. Although i have not seen John for decades i still thought of him often & must say, as stated above- his, ‘Quiet strength & genuine nature’ is what i used as a template that John ‘quietly’ set for my younger self. Back in the day, I was lucky enough to spend time with John at MSG, & on basketball courts & softball fields. I will always cherish those times. Good thoughts to his children & grandchildren
