I’m a little late to this, I just want to share my condolences on Mr Contes passing. I was Mrs Contes nurse for a time and I remember both of them fondly. Mr Conte was the one who introduced me to figs and I ended up planting one in my yard. One memory that stands out was Mr Conte and I were discussing growing vegetables and I mentioned how I like growing watermelon. I stated “but oh Mr Conte the vines are gonna grow all over the yard…” he goes “So???” 😂😂 and I swear every time I look at my melon vines I think of this 😂he was truly a great man a real stand up guy. I noticed he passed right after Mrs Conte I can say with confidence she came and got him they’re together now it’s all good may their memories be a blessing 🙏🏽🙏🏽
