George F. Haines

George F. Haines, age 88, of Ridge, New York died Sunday, February 23, 2025. George was born April 15, 1936 in Manhattan, New York. He is the son of the late George and the late Alice (Bailey) Haines. He was a proud Navy veteran who served from 1953 to 1957. He was the owner of G.Haines Heating, Centereach, New York. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan (Harasymczuk) Haines and his loving children, Theresa Haines-Pages of Hollywood, Florida, Nicole Peppe of Medford, New York, George Haines, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Darin Haines of Manorville, New York. He is also the cherished grandfather of twelve grandchildren and two precious great grandchildren. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Religious services will be held 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the Rocky Point Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, New York on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 10:30 am. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 9:45 am for a 10:00 am closing prayer and we will proceed to the cemetery together. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York.
