There is a warmth in our community that is ignited by Jerry’s love for all of us. If there was ever someone in need, or a favor asked, Jerry was there. ‘NO PROBLEM!’ Let’s remember him by living his legacy of good stewardship and a universal caring for all. Few people tower as Jerry did.
I am so honored to have been a part of the life of Jerry and Yolanda over the course of four decades of their sixty-three year marriage.I cannot imagine a more hospitality, generous or caring couple. To share a meal in their home, in Brentwood or in Mount Sinai, was to be treated like royalty. Condolences to John, Debbie and their loving and lovely families and friends.May Jerry, a dear friend, know the peace beyond all understanding. He fought the good fight. He finished the course. He kept the faith. May he rest in peace. St. Michael the Archangel, pray for him. St. Joseph, pray for him. San Gennaro, pray for him. (Father Edward Lodge Curran of St. Joseph’s, Pacific Street and all who have gone before Jerry marked with the sign of faith welcome him home to Paradise].
