I am so shocked to have learned of Kens untimely passing. We worked together for years. He was such a nice person. My deepest condolences.

You are always in our hearts. Our first born, we loved you first, we held you first and will forever hold you in our hearts.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss Hanwick and Johnson family. I can’t imagine what you are going through. Lauren always had wonderful stories about Ken and I could tell he was very very much loved by his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.

I’ll always remember Daytona Beach with my cousin. We thought he was the coolest, was in the Airforce, got his accountant degree from St. John’s U and was a CPA working for the IRS for over 30 years. RIP my amazing cousin. You have no idea how often listening to The Bee Gees I thought of our trip to Daytona. Always in my heart.

The sudden passing of a good and kind person is the saddest thing of all. Ken was a great co-worker who always made me laugh, sharing cat tales and grumbling about the sheer nonsense. I loved our talks. You’re up there with the angels; Rest in Peace. You will be missed. Sending prayers and sincere condolences to his family.

Praying for Ken’s family as I know this must be a difficult time considering how young Ken was.

We said our final goodbyes to you but it still does not seem real. I’m waiting for you to come home from Costco. Or for you to come inside after working in the garden. I can’t believe I will never hear your voice or spend time with you again. We would have so much fun! Whether it be going to a basketball or baseball game or going to a concert at Jones Beach or going out to dinner or taking a day trip out East or just hanging out at the house. We truly enjoyed each other’s company. You were not just my stepdad, you were my friend. My pal. It pains my heart and my soul that I didn’t see your pain. I hope you know how much we love you. And appreciate all that you did for us. Thank you for choosing us to be your family. We have so many amazing memories over all these years as a family. I wish we were able to make more memories. I just heard this sad news and I dont know what to say. My heart is filled with great sadness. I was just thinking about you the other day too and how you made the best pignoli cookies. They were usually your holiday specialty and you would always remember me and how I loved them. You would bring some to work and stop by my desk and surprise me with them. It made my day!!!….I read everyone’s memory of you and you were loved by so many and will be missed by all of us. Sending prayers to the family.
