Scott there are no words to express our grief right now. Please know that Michael LOVES your family. He enjoyed your conversations and always looked forward to game days.
Michael was such a sweet and loving child.
Rest in peace, little angel.

It is impossible to give words to our sorrow over Michael’s death, as we know that they cannot hold the weight of the grief that is in your hearts. We recognize that your grief is not finite, nor is our sympathy for your loss. We have hanging in out home the article and picture of Michael with the Varsity Swim Team when they competed at the Suffolk country meet, and every time we pass it, your family is, as you shall remain, in our thoughts and our hearts. Our son is blessed to have such a friend as he had in Michael.

in my class. We had a blast when class was in session, taking full advantage of not only the learning in our program, but Skills USA, Advocacy Day, the Longwood Legislative Breakfast, and much more. The last weekend before the pandemic shut down schools and we went virtual, my son and I went to see me in him in his role in Grease at his high school. We navigated online learning together and Mike took advantage of his time in the veterinary field where we really needed help. I have watched him grow as a senior in high school, preparing to pursue his career in veterinary medicine. He led our building as Skills USA President and completed his year leading his peers at BTC’s recognition ceremony. He was a “go to” person, always willing to step up and take care of anything that needed to be done. We spent lots of time talking about experiences in the field, cases we’ve seen, and future opportunities to work together. He was not just a dreamer, but he was working towards his goals in a big way. To say he has made a mark on me, or the other students in our building would be an understatement. As we left after graduation and took out final walk of the year to the buses, I distinctly remember telling him we weren’t going to cry and be sad, but that I’ll just see you later. I feel so lucky to be a part of his journey. He was truly one of a kind and I will really miss our heart to hearts, comparing cases, and most of all continuing our work together in the field. He was an outstanding young man, role model, leader, animal advocate, and friend. My heart and prayers are with his family, loved ones, friends, and colleagues. He was truly one of a kind. I know I had the opportunity to teach him and that now he’s teaching us all how to appreciate the moments we have together. “That’s it for now continue with your regularly scheduled programs.” ♥️
Miss you big guy
Love dad❤.
