Robert J. Sullivan

Robert J. Sullivan, age 71, of Ridge, New York died Friday, September 6, 2024. Robert was born January 3, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Robert and the late Helen (Carlsen) Sullivan. He served in the US Army from 1972 to 1976. He was employed by IRS, Holtsville, New York as a Customer Service Representative. He is survived by his beloved wife Maureen L. (Dowling) Sullivan, his stepson, Raymond Mayleas, and step grandsons, Cole Mayleas and Carter Mayleas. He also is the loving brother of Karen Buskie of Louisiana and Michael Sullivan of West Virginia. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Rocky Point Funeral Home, 603 Route 25A, Rocky Point, New York. Knights of Columbus Services will be offered 7:30pm Wednesday at the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10:30 am on Thursday, September 12 at St. Mark's RC Church, 105 Randall Road, Shoreham, New York. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram, New York.
