God Bless Vic and His Family

I reminded Vic of a story when I met him earlier in the year at Mom Olsen's service.  Jim and I were young grasshoppers stuffed into the passenger seat of Vic's 1968 Corvette on the way to a fishing trip.  My first time in a 'Vette and when he floored it, I think I might have screamed like a teenaged girl(sorry!).  Best day ever fishing on your Uncle's boat.  I was the Olsen's faithful paperboy, got to know the the whole family, including the cat and dog that terrorized me at every delivery.   Dad, Vic, Ronnie, Johnny and Jimmy all had influence on me regarding all things car-related; Ronnie's motorcycle might have influenced me as well.  Mom Olsen's command of the 3-on-the-tree stick-shift blew me away as did Grandma's classic Chevy.  Thank you for all the fond memories that came with knowing Vic and all of the Olsen's; spending the Wonder Years in Farmingdale - priceless, to say the least.
